Peter Hillyer, MD, CVIM clinical volunteer, was presented with the inaugural Dr. Frank Harrison Society Award for his long-standing commitment to CVIM. The award was presented by Jim Harrison, son of Frank Harrison, MD, on behalf of his mother, Joan, and the entire Harrison family. Held on March 27th, at Waynesborough Country Club, Paoli, the reception celebrated the collective philanthropy of The Harrison Society, consisting of close to 100 supporting members who have contributed annual gifts of $1,000 or more.  Dr. Hillyer shared in his remarks, “Make a difference, give back, be involved. I have the opportunity to really get to know a patient, take a history, do a physical exam and nobody is knocking on the door to say fifteen minutes is up the waiting room is getting restless. It’s a real gift.”  For more information about The Harrison Society, please contact Jason Arbacheski, Director of Development at 610-836-5990, ext. 132.
