VIM understands the need for the development of future healthcare and life science professionals and is committed to providing clinical experience to students. CVIM provided more than 12,000 hours of hands-on educational experience to more than 200 students last year. The experiences and professional training they gained at the clinic enable them to get first-hand experience working with a patient population of individuals truly in need of their skills. Below, we highlight two students who recently spent their summer furthering their academic experience
with CVIM:

Rachel Hykel – A graduate student in Public Health at West Chester University, revitalized our Smoking Cessation Program. “My experience at CVIM has been wonderful – all of the fantastic people here treat patients with compassion and respect.”

Mac Weymouth – A graduate student in Spanish at West Chester University, utilized his skills in our front office and throughout the clinic as he worked to advance the efficacy of Spanish-English clinical interpreting. “Through my experience, I was able to authentically learn
Spanish from a local perspective which is truly amazing.”
