This fall, CVIM Vice President of Operations Marie Frey, FACHE was named Vice President of the Free Clinic Association of Pennsylvania (FCAP) Board of Directors. FCAP is the only membership organization representing the interests of Free Clinics in Pennsylvania. FCAP is a member of the National Clinic Association. The mission of FCAP is to provide education and networking opportunities for member free clinics and to encourage and contribute to the development of regional and national free clinic associations.
In addition to recently earning the position of Vice President of the Free Clinic Association of Pennsylvania, Marie Frey is the Vice President of Operations at Community Volunteers in Medicine. Marie has been working at CVIM for 13 years ensuring the clinic’s smooth and efficient operation. Through her position in the clinic she was invited to present for both the National Association of Free Clinics and the Free Clinic Association of Pennsylvania. Before coming to CVIM, Marie worked in hospital administration for ten years as a Vice President of Human Resources and Professional Services. During this time, she completed the requirements to become a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). Beyond earning her Master’s in Health Administration from Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN, Marie has received certification from the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute through Bryn Mawr College.
