Parenting Group Sessions in Spanish

View details on the Parenting Group Flyer!

Spanish speaking CVIM Patients are invited to join us for group parenting sessions Monday evenings March 12, 2018 through April 9, 2018 from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm at CVIM.

The parenting sessions are open to CVIM patients who are caretakers (parents and grandparents) of children 10 years old and younger. The group will address topics including parenting style, tantrums, consequences and discipline, nutrition, general and mental health, and routines. The goal of the group is to have the participants share their personal challenges, expertise, and experiences in parenting.

Classes will be led by Widner University MSW student Elizabeth Garduno, a native Spanish speaker from Mexico. Elizabeth has a strong background working with children, families, groups, and teaching parenting skills. We are so glad to have Elizabeth here to share her expertise with our patients!

Patients may attend any or all of the sessions and child care will be provided.
