At CVIM our volunteer healthcare professionals focus on the whole person, addressing the physical, psychological and social needs of the individual and family.  Culturally competent care is provided by bilingual healthcare professionals as well as certified health interpreters.  In addition, CVIM facilitates access to vital community resources such a food cupboards, shelters, financial assistance, domestic violence support and substance abuse programs.

None of the medical, dental, social services, education or drug dispensary services that CVIM offers would be possible without the compassionate service of more than 300 volunteers who last year contributed 45,000 hours of volunteer time to treat their neighbors in need in Chester County, PA.  Thanks to their dedication to providing primary medical and dental care to the working uninsured, they provided 28,000 patient visits last year, a little more than 2,300 per month.

At this time, CVIM is actively recruiting for a number of volunteer positions to help address all of the health concerns our patient face on a daily basis.  These positions include:

CVIM prides itself on serving as a healthcare home to those in need, giving them access to the services they need to be contributing members of the community.  CVIM patients receive a uniquely high level of comprehensive medical and dental care unprecedented in most free clinics including primary medical care, cardiology, orthopedics, gynecology, dermatology, prescription medications, expansive education services, smoking cessation, and more in addition to preventative and restorative dental care.  This is made possible due to the many volunteers who make it their mission to care for their neighbors in need.  Please consider learning more about joining the CVIM volunteer team.
