A grant from the Foxwynd Foundation Donor Advised Fund will be used to further CVIM’s commitment to expanding patients’ access to care by allowing us to increase our primary care offerings for patients.
Dr. Mary’s Legacy Run, 5K, and Family Walk

We had a tremendous turnout for our inaugural 5K event. Over 300 friends, family members, CVIM supporters, and local community members gathered to walk, run, volunteer, and celebrate with us.
Together, we raised over $80,000 for the Dr. Mary Wirshup Endowment at Community Volunteers in Medicine.

CVIM’s 23rd Annual Golf Classic was held at Applebrook Golf Club on June 4, 2024, with Rodger Levenson of WSFS serving as Honorary Chair of this year’s event.
Community Volunteers in Medicine Partners with Penn Medicine to Launch New Medical Microsite in West Grove

CVIM has launched a new medical “microsite” in West Grove, at the Penn Medicine Southern Chester County Outpatient facility, in space generously donated by Penn Medicine’s Chester County Hospital.
CVIM Honors Volunteers at Celebration; Kicks off Silver Anniversary Year

Volunteers, staff, members of the CVIM Board of Directors, and local community partners and dignitaries dined, socialized, and celebrated CVIM’s 25th anniversary during a Celebration of Volunteers event held at the Desmond Hotel in Malvern. In addition, Chester County Commissioners Josh Maxwell and Michele Kichline honored CVIM with a special commendation and helped us thank our volunteers for their contributions to the community.
