John Elicker, Jr.

Board Chair

John was Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Investor Relations for Bristol-Myers Squibb, retiring in March 2020. Before joining Bristol-Myers Squibb, John held various leadership roles of increasing responsibility at W. W. Grainger, Inc., and Scott Paper Company. John recently chaired the CVIM Marketing Committee and has served on numerous other CVIM committees including the Strategic Planning Committee in 2021. We are honored to have him serve as Board Chair beginning in July, 2024.

Lori Gustave

Vice-Chair

Affiliation: Senior Vice President for Business Development for the University of Pennsylvania Health System

Lori is the Senior Vice President for Business Development for the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She has also served Penn Medicine in previous roles including Chef Administrative Officer for the Musculoskeletal and Rheumatology Service Line and Associate Executive Director and Director of Strategic Planning at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Lori brings her vast experience in healthcare and patient advocacy to CVIM’s board. She is a member of CVIM’s Marketing Committee and served on the Strategic Planning Committee in 2021.

Michael Buongiorno

Treasurer

Affiliation: Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Main Line Health

Michael Buongiorno is the Executive VP and CFO of Main Line Health. He is responsible for all aspects of financial and treasury matters for Main Line Health’s operations and subsidiaries. Mike has a broad range of accounting and auditing experience, as well as significant mergers & acquisitions work in healthcare.  Mike previously served on the CVIM Board for nine years, chairing the Board for two of those years.  He returned to the Board recently, and we are honored to have him serve again as Acting Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee.

Margolit Hillsberg

Secretary

Margolit is a Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer at Janney. She is also a member of the firm’s Executive Leadership Team.  In her role, she is responsible for advancing Janney’s people and culture goals and objectives, including diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), talent development, total rewards, and recruiting and retention, among other areas. Margolit has experience as a consultative partner, volunteer, and fundraiser in several community organizations.  She is also a valued member of CVIM’s Human Resource Committee.

As the new President & CEO of CVIM, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff, volunteers and community for your unwavering commitment to our mission.  Together, we provide a safe space for our patients and their families to access the care they need to live healthier lives.
